Processing time is normally 2-3 working days, unless stated in the product description. Certain made to order items eg with birthstones or engravings, may take up to 6 weeks. UK orders: All items shipped within the UK will be sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery which will require a signature on delivery. If no-one is available to sign, Royal Mail will leave a card detailing their nearest delivery office from where the package can be collected.
International orders: We deliver to all countries across the world. Postage amounts will be calculated at the time of payment processing. International items are sent by Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed 5-7 days for international postage. Please note that it is the responsibility of the buyer to pay any international customs charges.
Uncollected items: Any items returned to us that have not been retrieved by the buyer from their local post office following an attempted delivery will be required to pay for postage a second time to have the item redelivered. If you would prefer a refund that can be arranged but you will not receive back the original postage charges. This applies to international and domestic orders.
Orders from the EU: From 1/6/21 all orders shipped to the EU from the UK will be required to pay import VAT under the new VAT collection rules following Brexit. This means that any order made on our website from the EU after 1/6/21 will be subject to VAT when it enters the destination country. The local post service in your country is likely to contact you when your parcel arrives to arrange for payment of VAT plus a handling charge. Unfortunately you will not be able to receive your package until these charges are paid.

Royal Mail Postal Strikes - Christmas 2022:
We are doing our best to post orders out as soon as they come in to give them the best possible chance of arriving before Christmas. For any orders placed after 10th December, we are hopeful but we can't fully guarantee that they will arrive in the stated delivery time due to the planned strike action by Royal Mail. All orders are now being sent via Special Delivery which is a guaranteed, fully insured next day service and tracking is being monitored. We thank all our customers in advance for their patience while the delays are ongoing.
We really hope you will be happy with your purchase, but if for any reason you find that the item you have purchased is not what you expected, please contact us.
Any requests for returns should be made within 14 days of receiving your items. Please contact us to request a return and instructions will be given regarding how to return the item. Once the item is received unworn in its original packaging, a refund will be made promptly to your PayPal account or credit/debit card. The buyer will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back. It is up to you how you send your return however we advise that you use insured post in case of loss or damage. Unfortunately we are unable to exchange any custom-made or engraved items. This includes letter charms and engraved letter discs which are made bespoke for each order.
Faulty Items: At our discretion we are happy to repair any item free of charge within a period of 6 months after delivery. Upon return these items will be inspected, and any item displaying damage deemed to be a result of wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty. Any unworn faulty items returned within 30 days of ordering will be given a full refund. If your item is over 6 months old or we deem the item to have been damaged by the wearer there will be a charge for any repairs.
Plating: At Margot & Mila we use only the best quality UK platers with excellent long-lasting results for everyday wear. However over time all plated jewellery can start to wear. If your jewellery needs re-plating we are happy to help with this. Please contact us for more information on charges for this service.
